One of the Caribbean's Most Opulent Private Island Estates, Featured on WealthTV's Private Islands Show

Regency International Estates, exclusive Affiliate of Christie's International Real Estate, has recently been featured in two new television shows dedicated to the Private Islands of the Turks and Caicos. The first of the two private island specials that premierd March 24th on WealthTV, and will be seen by its audience of affluent viewers.

Prior to arriving in the TCI, the WealthTV crew and their talented Presenter/Producer Christina Cindrich had recently concluded an episode in Musha Cay and the Islands of Copperfield Bay, owned by famed illusionist David Copperfield. The beauty of Musha Cay and the Islands of Copperfield Bay may seem like something hard to compete with, until one sees the magnificence of the first episode's feature on the Island of Emerald Cay—by far one of the most unique, opulent, luxurious, and astonishing private island estate in the Caribbean, if not the world!

The second private island special is a compilation of islands, such as the "A-List" Parrot Cay, which is a second home to such celebrities as Keith Richards, Bruce Willis, Donna Karan, and Christie Brinkley. However, the focus of the show is not the glitz and glamour, but the most amazing lifestyle afforded those who chose any one of the country's beautiful private islands to call home. From the simple to the opulent, Regency International Estates offers each end of the spectrum.

Buy this home, benefit charity

Lake Nona Golf & Country Club home sale will aid Nemours Children’s Hospital

ORLANDO, FLORIDA – In a market when home sellers are trying to get the most for their resale, one Lake Nona Golf & Country Club family plans to donate a portion of their home sale to charity.
The seller will make the donation to the Nemours Fund for Children’s Health, which supports important programs and services for children and families being cared for at the Nemours Children’s Hospital. The hospital will open to patients on October 22, just down the road from the luxury golf community. Nemours Children’s Hospital will provide best-in-class children’s health care, prevention and research to families in Central Florida with its 95-bed hospital and 60-acre fully integrated health campus in Lake Nona Medical City.
For homebuyers in the market for a residence with water and golf course views, the 4,950-square-foot Mediterranean-style home with a pool is perched on 1.3 acres between a conservation area and pond just steps from Lake Nona’s Tom Fazio-designed championship golf course. Lake Nona members enjoy access to a wealth of amenities that include a year-round children’s program, 24-hour gated security, concierge services, a Bath & Racquet Club with fitness center, tennis facilities and a resort-style pool as well as a clubhouse with a formal dining area, grill room and lounge, well-appointed golf shop, conference room and an 18-room guest lodge. The residence is listed at US$1,924,000. To learn more, visit http://www.lakenona.com/real-estate/9818-sloane-street-4950-sq-ft/
“The community has seen an influx of health care professionals moving into the area and specifically into Lake Nona Golf & Country Club,” said Cathy Williams, Lake Nona Realty broker. “With this listing, you get a beautiful home and some of the finest amenities in one of Orlando’s most exclusive neighborhoods and the wonderful feeling of knowing you’re filling a real need right here in the Lake Nona community.”
But the family’s charitable incentive is more than a tactic to move their home off the market. The family has relied on Nemours’ services for several years.
They hope their charitable act will not only engage physicians, surgeons and hospital administrators who are relocating to Lake Nona Medical City to consider their residence during their home search, but also inspire generosity in other sellers and generate interest in the Nemours Foundation. The homeowners have the backing of the Winter Park-based Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation, which recently awarded a US$500,000 grant to the new Nemours Lake Nona hospital. The Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation has agreed to match the homeowners’ donation if the residence sells by August 31, 2012. The family will decide on the donation amount after their home sells.
The homeowner’s contribution will help fund Nemours KidsTRACK Care Coordination, a program that provides patient families access to a care coordinator who acts as a single point of contact to help set up doctors’ appointments, talk to insurance agencies and prepare patients and their families to return home by providing training on medicine.
KidsTRACK was also selected as the beneficiary of the grant funding from the Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation. Through a poll administered online and at Nemours clinics, Central Florida families were asked to vote on how the Edyth Bush grant should be used to enhance Nemours Children’s Hospital’s services.
“When someone in the Nemours ‘family’ steps forward with intentions such as this, it is deeply meaningful to us all,” said Kim Strong, director of development at Nemours Foundation. “In today’s world, people are finding many creative ways to support the charities they believe in. We at Nemours are proud to serve the healthcare needs of this family and plan to put the donation to great use in KidsTRACK.”
Celebrating its 25th anniversary, Lake Nona Golf & Country Club forms a cornerstone to Tavistock Group’s innovative 7,000-acre mixed-use Lake Nona development, which includes education, research and medical facilities, diverse workspaces and housing, retail centers and entertainment choices, trails, parks and recreational amenities.
“In today’s market, it’s not unusual for homeowners who are serious about selling their home to offer interesting incentives to engage buyers and get their home to stand out,” Williams said. “Hopefully, this will be the first of many sellers offering generous and relevant donations.”

Luis Barragán’s Cuadra San Cristóbal, an Architectural Tour de Force, Offered at €10 Million

Mexican Equestrian Estate Considered Barragan’s Valedictory and an Execution of Color and Form Equalling that of Cubist Painters such as Pablo Picasso

New York, N.Y.—Christie’s International Real Estate is pleased to announce the opportunity to purchase the globally acclaimed, Cuadra San Cristóbal, a triumphant equestrian estate located in Mexico City and executed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Luis Barragán in 1968.
“This is without question one of the finest examples of architecture as art, recognized as such around the globe,” says Rick Moeser, Senior Vice President of Christie’s International Real Estate. “The estate has been meticulously maintained and so is ready for a seamless handover to the new owners and future stewards of this important property.”

The more than seven-acre compound captures the atmosphere of a palazzo with its main house, stables with three-bedroom apartment, two-bedroom guesthouse, and two L-shaped swimming pools, one for people and a larger one for the horses. A cascade of water, a Barragán signature, spills into the large pool creating the sound that Barragán himself described as “peace, joy, and restful sensuality.” The horses enter their pool through two rectangular openings in a long, rose pink wall that Barragán, himself a horse enthusiast, scaled to the animals’ large size. On the other side of the wall, hidden from the view from the main house, is the stable area and track.
Barragán’s work has been described as minimalist but the colors and textures of San Cristóbal are nothing less than sumptuous. In addition to the wall of brilliant pink are contrasting walls of deep purple, rust red, and stark white, all framed by a vibrant blue sky. As Architectural Digest wrote: It’s almost as if he was trying to distill everything he had ever admired about form, light, and even motion into one project.”
Barragán designed his homes as sanctuaries and showed great restraint in his use of large-scale windows, interspersing instead a generous number of skylights to allow the sun to wash over the home’s white walls and floors of polished stone and wood. The main house, with its four bedrooms and two additional for staff, maximizes areas of quiet seclusion for the family while a picture window in the living room overlooks the horse pool and plaza.
Cuadra San Cristóbal is proudly offered by Christie’s International Real Estate and J.Q. Bienes Raices.
